Fast response, fair pricing, and work you can count on.
Brayden's Plumbing is a local crew that works the Austin area, from downtown to the Hill Country suburbs like Lakeway, Bee Cave, and Dripping Springs. The properties here run the gamut: older homes in Travis Heights with galvanized pipe that's finally giving out, new builds in Kyle with PEX and tankless units, and lake houses on Lake Travis with private well pumps and septic systems. We cover all of that, including the small towns in between. Our patch is Austin, TX, and the surrounding area, and we know the soil here—how limestone shifts, how tree roots find the old clay sewer lines, and what the water pressure does to a fixture over time.
When you call us, we ask what you're seeing and hearing. A dripping faucet is one thing; a wet spot in the yard that smells like sewage is another. We'll ask how old the house is, what kind of pipes you have, and whether you've had work done before. We don't quote over a photo—we come out, look at the job, and tell you what we see. If it's a drain line, we run a camera and show you the footage on the phone. Then we give you a price for the work as we understand it, and we tell you what could change if we find more damage once we open the wall or dig the trench.
For a water heater, we use Bradford White or Rheem—tank and tankless both—and we sweat copper joints with 95/5 solder, not the cheap stuff. On a sewer line, we trench with a mini-excavator and lay Schedule 40 PVC, bedded in sand, with a clean-out at the house and at the street. The difference between work that lasts and work that leaks is in the prep: cleaning the pipe end, deburring it, using primer and cement that's not expired, and letting the glue set before you test it. We do not bury a joint we haven't pressure-tested. That's the standard.
We show up in a marked truck and park in the driveway unless you tell us otherwise. We lay down plywood or ram board on the path from the truck to the work area, and we tape off doorways so we don't track mud on the carpet. If we're cutting drywall, we put up a plastic barrier and run a HEPA vac on the saw. We flush the system outside when we test a new water heater, not into your sink. When we leave, we haul off the old water heater, the pipe scraps, the cardboard, and the mud we swept up. The job site looks like we were never there, except for the new work.
We take the time to find the real problem and explain it clearly. You get a straightforward diagnosis and a fair price, with no pressure to add work you do not need.
